School is out all week, which means I am unemployed for the week since I am now a full time substitute teacher. Substitute teaching is a "straight commission" job. I am trying to get back in the classroom full time.
Other than the coastal towns, Hurricane IKE's main destruction has been the electrical grid. The city of Houston and most of the area school districts are shut down because of no electricity.
