Fatherloss

Today is the anniversary date of my birth father's death. Ronald Benjamin Hutchinson died December 21, 1958 at 10:50 p.m. as a result of a single car collision. He hit a light post while traveling at a high rate of speed. He was dead on arrival at Pasadena General Hospital.

This event changed the course and direction of my life. For many years I did not think much about the death of my father. The older I get, the more I wish I could have known him.
