Katy Loses

Katy lost yesterday to Cy Falls, 28-21. We could not get the ball in the end zone from the six yard line to tie the game and go into overtime. The game was very reminiscent of a playoff game we lost in 2002 against Smithson Valley. That game was more painful to lose because Matthew was playing. In Katy, if you do not win a state championship, the players consider the season unsuccessful. Katy has won three state championships since 1997.
