A Core Life Book Club

My last post did not get any responses on starting a blog book club. So, I will try one more time to see if anyone is interested. I am open to any book, however, I would like it to be challenging. It could be a novel or non-fiction. Mike Cope had an interesting non-fiction book on his blog yesterday - The irresistible Revolution: Living as an Ordinary Radical by Shane Claiborne. This may be an interesting book. Any of the books by Donald Miller may be good to discuss.

If it were a fiction, maybe something that was about 300 pages, and had a moral or ethical dilemma on the order of Crime and Punishment, yet contemporary. If you have any good ideas, make a comment.

If you anyone could recommend a really good memoir. Running with Scissors is going to made into a movie, but I haven't read it.
The way it would work is I would devote two blogs a week to the book. The comments would be used for the discussion.

I would play...I don't have any unique ideals. I am reading N.T. Wright and Anne Lamont and I am about to order Joe Beam's new book.

I just read the book that came after Running with Scissors, and I'd say that would NOT be the best one.

Mike Cope's book sounds good. (And there's one coming out in Octber but I forget it's name...)
