Dragons Burn Tigers

Turnovers, Dragons' offensive fire down Tigers in title tilt, 34-20
Katy Times

At the stadium where the Dallas Cowboys built a dynasty with three championships in four seasons, Southlake Carroll matched the feat Saturday afternoon, besting Katy 34-20 in the Class 5A Division II state title game.

The loss ended Katy’s previously-undefeated season at 14-1 and kept the Tigers from winning a fifth state championship. Southlake won its second straight title and has won three of the last four in Division II of Class 5A.

I suppose I will be looking at lots of green around here huh?

I thought about you when I heard Southlake won yesterday. I was sorry for ya'll down in Katy--that's one of the things I just hate about football--someone has to loose.

We were definitely at the game! Michael was on the sophmore team this year. Matthew was on the 2002 team that lost in the semifinals. We love Tiger football!

It looked a lot at Christmas, however, we didn't get to take home the present.

I watched the last half and Katy has nothing to be ashamed of, they fought until the bitter end.

What is up with the blonde hair on all the SLC players heads?
