Life is Difficult

"Life is difficult," are three simple words which are the gateway to M. Scott Peck's book, The Road Less Traveled. These words are one of the classic introductions of all time for a self help/psychology book. Dr. Peck died yesterday. He was 69. There is a tribute to him on Belief.net today. Dr. Peck is credited for being a leader for integrating psychology and religion in the late 20th century.

I read The Road Less Traveled. At the time I was confused and in a constant state of confusion. I do remember what I read made me calmer and more at peace. Perhaps I will attempt to read the book again now that I am more settled.
