No Child Left Unloved

It is too bad that congress can not legislate love. If they could, I would propose the "No Child Left Unloved Act." No child in America would go to bed or wake up in the morning without knowing that they are loved. Children would never be considered an inconvenience or a nuisance, they would be the object of someone's love. Each child's love bank would be carefully monitored. If I child had someone in their life making withdraws, that person would be immediately coached on the joy and importance of making love deposits in a child's account. The foster care system in America would be turned on it's head. The number of adoptions would soar. Child abuse would become non-existent.

Imagine, America becoming known as the nation that "leaves no child left unloved." This love would spread across the borders and flow across the oceans. If another country has children that need love, we could send love missionaries. We would open our hearts and our homes to the orphans of the world. America would become known as the nation that loves children.

Loving children become loving adults who become loving parents who become loving grandparents. The world becomes a place of hope, faith, and most importantly - love.
