Katy Wins Back to Back State Championships

What an amazing year for the Katy Tigers! After losing the first two games, the coaches rebuilt the Tigers. Some players went from offense to defense and others lost their starting positions to under classmen. The Tigers lost the last game of the season in overtime to Cinco Ranch. This cost them the district championship but still gave them a place in the playoffs. The key to their wins was that they got better every game. After winning 5 games the Tigers played the Wylie Pirates for the State Championship. This was the most exciting game of the season. Katy won 17-3. The defense was outstanding! Coach Gary Joseph and his assistants are amazing coaches.
